Manoj Bajpayee’s political drama Governor: The Silent Saviour has hit six days in theatres now, and still manages to pull in its intended audience even with those midweek slip-ups. On Day 6 the film made ₹33 lakh net from 1,120 shows across the country, and the run has stayed pretty steady at the box office.

The overall India net is now ₹4.74 crore, while the gross collections sit at ₹5.65 crore. Sure, the figures are on the modest side, but the film has remained consistent through the week, getting a boost from positive word of mouth from viewers who seem to enjoy its politically charged tale, plus Manoj Bajpayee’s impactful performance.

‘Governor: The Silent Saviour’ Adds ₹33 Lakh to Its Total Collection

On its first Wednesday, the movie made around ₹33 lakh net at the Indian box office, and it kept a steady hold through the weekdays. After the opening weekend, of course the numbers slipped a bit, but the drop wasn’t that drastic, which is a good sign for the film. This kind of consistent showing points to positive word-of-mouth drawing people back into theatres. A lot of the film’s pull still comes from Manoj Bajpayee’s compelling turn as a shrewd political leader, and that is still the main reason ticket sales stay intact even if promotional activity stays limited.

India Net Collection Nears ₹5 Crore as Film Completes Six Days in Theatres

After finishing six days in theatres, the film is inching closer toward the ₹5 crore mark on the domestic box office in a rather steady kind of way. Right now, its India net collection sits at ₹4.74 crore, while the overall India gross has climbed to ₹5.65 crore.

Steady Occupancy Across 1,120 Shows Helps Sustain Weekday Earnings

A big part of why the film kept its box office steady is that it has a broad run in theaters across the country, not just in a few pockets, like you know. By Day 6 it was still climbing from over 1,120 daily shows, so it could maintain this steady feed of viewers even on the weekdays. Sure, you might not see full-house crowds in every theatre, but the film’s consistent occupancy across a large number of screenings has kept the collections in a good place.
