The much-loved Mishra family is all set to return with more middle-class madness, emotional moments and endless conversations over chai as Gullak Season 5 gets an official release date. The makers unveiled the teaser of the upcoming season on Wednesday and gave fans a glimpse into the familiar chaos, humourous moments and heart-melting family bond that made the show a massive hit on OTT.
The teaser promises another relatable ride filled with everyday struggles, sibling banter and emotional drama inside the Mishra household. While the signature warmth of the series remains intact, the new season is expected to explore fresh family challenges and changing dynamics.
The series stars Jameel Khan, Geetanjali Kulkarni and Harsh Mayar reprising their popular roles. Season 5 has also been grabbing attention due to actor Anant V. Joshi stepping into the role of Annu Mishra instead of Vaibhav Raj Gupta.
Gullak 5 Release Date Revealed
The trailer hints that despite growing responsibilities and life’s complications, the Mishra family’s simple moments and emotional connections will once again remain the soul of the show. SonyLIV confirmed that the new season will start streaming from June 5.
It posted the teaser with the caption, “Kuch sapne naye, kuch zimmedariyan nayi… par apnapan bilkul wahi. Lekar zindagi ke sikkon ki khanak, aa rahi hai naye kisson ki Gullak. Gullak Season 5 streaming from 5th June, only on Sony LIV.”
Soon, fans reacted to the trailer and most of them expressed disappointment over Vaibhav’s replacement. A person tagged the actor and wrote, “Series is not a series without you.” Another fan echoed the same sentiment and mentioned, “Annu bhaiya k bina maja nhi ayega.”
