How Did Hanuman Ansh Go From Rs 10 Lakh Opening To Rs 143 Crore?
The film’s box-office journey has been anything but conventional. Hanuman Ansh opened with only Rs 0.10 crore on its first Friday. It collected Rs 0.20 crore on Saturday and Rs 0.30 crore on Sunday before falling to Rs 0.10 crore on Monday.
Tuesday and Wednesday brought in Rs 0.13 crore each, while Thursday added another Rs 0.12 crore. The film ended its opening week with just Rs 1.08 crore. However, its fortunes changed dramatically in the weeks that followed.
After collecting Rs 0.40 crore in its second week, the film’s third-week collection jumped to Rs 10.40 crore. The fourth week brought an even bigger surge, with the film earning Rs 61 crore.
Why Did Hanuman Ansh Witness Such A Massive Box Office Jump?
The biggest surprise in the film’s theatrical journey is the timing of its growth. Rather than benefiting from a traditional opening-weekend surge, Hanuman Ansh gradually picked up momentum and recorded some of its biggest collections much later in its run.
The fourth week alone contributed Rs 61 crore. The film then remained strong in its fifth week, collecting Rs 10 crore on Day 29, Rs 16.50 crore on Saturday and a reported Rs 22.75 crore on its fifth Sunday, its biggest day in the reported run. Monday brought another Rs 10 crore before Tuesday’s Rs 11 crore.
The sustained collections have pushed the film to Rs 143.13 crore India net, making its journey from a Rs 10 lakh opener particularly striking.
