Prithviraj Sukumaran’s I, Nobody finally hit theatres on July 9 and the first reactions are pouring in. Directed by Nisam Basheer and co-starring Parvathy Thiruvothu, the action thriller has sparked plenty of conversation online. While many viewers are praising the film’s technical brilliance, gripping first half and stylish action, others feel the second half loses momentum.

A large section of viewers has applauded the film’s presentation, calling it one of the better-made thrillers in recent times.

Another viewer praised the overall execution, saying, “A stylish thriller that looks good on the big screen. The direction is neat, the performances are good, and Prithviraj Sukumaran is impressive throughout. Jakes Bejoy’s background score and the action blocks make many scenes more impactful.”

Some fans even suggested the actor should continue exploring more action-oriented roles after this performance.

First Half Impresses

While many praised the suspense-filled opening half, a few viewers felt the film couldn’t maintain the same intensity later on.

One review read, “It’s just a decent watch with a refreshingly solid first half, followed by a mid-second half.” Another viewer also noted that although the second half became predictable, the film remained an entertaining theatrical experience thanks to its visuals, music and action sequences.

About I, Nobody

I, Nobody follows Rajeevan, an ordinary government employee whose life changes overnight after he witnesses a crime and is falsely implicated in a major bank robbery. Forced to go on the run, he must use his combat skills to survive while protecting his family.

Alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathy Thiruvothu, the film also stars Hakkim Shahjahan, Ashokan, Vijayaraghavan, Madhupal, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Nishanth Sagar, Nandhu, Noushad Bombay, Jijoy Rajagopal and Khalid Rahman in key roles.
