Gordon Ramsay Urges Brooklyn Beckham to Remember Family Values Amid Fallout
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has shared his perspective on the ongoing tensions between Brooklyn Beckham and his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, urging the young Beckham to reflect on family bonds. The remarks came during an interview with E! News, where Ramsay addressed the high-profile estrangement in the Beckham household.
“I want Brooklyn just to take a moment to yourself and just remember you're half-mum, half-dad,” Ramsay said. “You're an amazing young man, but boy, they've done more for you than anyone will do in your entire life, any father-in-law, let me tell you.” His comments emphasized the importance of recognizing the sacrifices and support of parents.
Ramsay, who has maintained a decades-long friendship with the Beckhams alongside his wife Tana, expressed surprise at the reported discord. “Their relationship with Brooklyn was solid,” he said. “I've seen first-hand just how good of parents they are.”
The tension intensified after Brooklyn posted a six-part statement on social media criticizing his parents, bringing private family matters into public view. Ramsay noted that adult children joining new families can create complex dynamics: “It's hard when you enter that age in life when you join with another family. There's a different dynamic going on, so there was bound to be some sort of clash.”
Despite the estrangement, Ramsay reassured that Brooklyn and David Beckham share a deep bond. “The relationship between David and Brooklyn is very, very deep, and I know how much David loves Brooklyn,” he said. The Beckhams are also parents to Romeo, Cruz, and Harper Seven, highlighting the family’s close-knit structure.
The celebrity chef revealed he has been in contact with Brooklyn during this challenging period. “We've messaged a little bit. It's a very difficult situation,” he admitted. “And listen I love him. His heart is incredible, but it's hard, isn’t it, when you're infatuated. Love is blind. They say it for a reason.”
Ultimately, Ramsay remains hopeful for reconciliation. “It's easy to get up on that rollercoaster and get carried away,” he said. “But I believe the penny will drop, and time's going to be the best healer.”
