The controversy over the film Kala Hiran, which is said to be based on the 1998 blackbuck poaching case involving Bollywood star Salman Khan, got way more intense recently. Producer Amit Jani claims he’s getting death threats since Salman sent a legal notice their way. This notice says the filmmakers violated his personality rights and wants them to stop all promo activities and halt the film’s release. Things have gotten so bad that Jani now feels threatened with violence if he even goes to Mumbai.
Amit Jani Responds to Salman Khan’s Legal Notice
Amit Jani addressed a legal notice in a video he shared online and talked about the threatening messages he’s gotten lately. People keep bombarding him—both media folks and friends—with questions. They want to know how he should respond to the notice from Salman Khan. It’s been 36 hours since the chaos started.
Jani’s fans, from Dharavi to Jogeshwari, have sent 1,000 messages. These aren’t friendly fan messages, though; they’re full of threats, vowing to hurt or even kill him if he comes to Mumbai. The situation got worse when Jani claimed some messages came from a well-known criminal group, making things more dangerous. So not only is he dealing with potential legal issues, but he’s also under threat from extreme fans who seem ready to cross lines for a reaction to whatever it is he did involving Salman Khan.
He continued, “And ek message toh unki toolkit ke dwara, asli hai ya nakli, pata nahi, ‘D company’ ke naam se bheja gaya hai. D company jo hai woh chhodengi nahi. Toh main kiska jawaab doon? Salman Khan ki toolkit ke dwara jo hazaar gaaliyan dilwaai gayi hain, un dhamkiyon ka jawaab doon? Yeh jo aapka notice hai, (tearing it apart), yeh hai jawaab. (There’s also one message sent through their toolkit — whether it’s real or fake, I don’t know — in the name of ‘D Company.’ They won’t back down. So who am I supposed to answer? The guy demanding I respond to all the abuse from Salman Khan’s crew? Or should I reply to this actual notice? Well, here’s my reply.)”
In the video, Jani also accused certain fans of intimidating him and his family. “Ab aayi aapki dhamkiyaan, woh jo aapki toolkit dene waali hain – jo aapki badtameez fans hain, aur jo aapke Dharavi mein pal rahi gunde hain, ya phir Dongri-Jogeshwari mein rehne waale so-called fans hain – aur jis tareeke ke messages aa rahe hain D company se ki tumhara family ko khatam kar denge, notice ka jawaab aapko mil gaya hai. Abhi hum D company ko dekhenge (Now your threats have arrived — those from the people who gave you your toolkit: your rude fans, the street thugs raised in Dharavi, or the so-called fans living in Dongri and Jogeshwari — and the kind of messages we’re getting from D company saying they’ll finish off your family. You’ve got the reply to that notice. Now we will deal with D company,” concluded Amit Jani.
What Does Salman Khan’s Legal Notice Say?
The people who made the movie Kala Hiran got a notice. This notice was sent to Akshay Pandey who’s the casting director of Kala Hiran. The notice says that the people making the movie should stop working on it now. They should not release the movie. Tell people about it. Kala Hiran is a movie made by the same people who made Udaipur Files. Udaipur Files is a movie about a man named Kanhaiya Lal who was murdered in Udaipur. Bharat S. Shrinate directed Kala Hiran and Amit Jani produced it.
Salman Khans lawyers said that there is still a case going on in the Rajasthan High Court about the blackbuck poaching. The legal notice says that the movie Kala Hiran is saying things about Salman Khan. It is also saying that the movie is using Salman Khans name and what happened to him without his permission. The lawyers for Salman Khan think that making this movie will not be fair, to him. It will affect the case that is still going on. The notice also says that Salman Khan did not say it was okay to use his name or what happened to him in the movie Kala Hiran. Salman Khan did not give permission to the people making the movie to use his name or the story of what happened to him.
Demands Made by Salman Khan’s Legal Team
The people who made Kala Hiran got a notice. They have to stop working on Kala Hiran away. This means they cannot make Kala Hiran tell people about Kala Hiran or do anything with Kala Hiran if it is about Salman Khan. They also have to say sorry to Salman Khan in writing and mean it. The notice says that if the people who made Kala Hiran do not do what they are told within one day of getting the notice they might get in trouble, with the law. This could happen to everyone who is involved with Kala Hiran.
About Kala Hiran
The people who made Kala Hiran said that the movie will have a story about real court cases and action. They will show us a preview of the movie on June 20. There is a lot of talk about Kala Hiran because of something that happened a time ago. In 1998 Salman Khan was filming a movie called Hum Saath Saath Hain in Rajasthan. He was accused of hunting blackbucks, which’s against the law in a village near Jodhpur. Salman Khan was the person accused but his co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, Neelam Kothari and a local man named Dushyant Singh were not found guilty.
In 2018 a court in Rajasthan said that Salman Khan was guilty and he had to go to jail for five years.. Then he was let out of jail on bail. Later in 2022 a higher court in Rajasthan said that they would handle all the cases related to the blackbuck poaching. Now the problem with Kala Hiran is not just in the court it is also an issue that people are talking about because the person who made the movie said some serious things. The Kala Hiran movie is still in the middle of all this. People are waiting to see what will happen next, with Kala Hiran.
