Delhi commuters and music fans have been advised to plan their travel carefully on February 28, 2026, as special traffic arrangements come into force for Punjabi pop star Karan Aujla’s mega concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The show marks the India launch of Aujla’s P-POP CULTURE Tour 2026 and is expected to draw tens of thousands of spectators, prompting extensive traffic diversions around the venue.

The Delhi leg of the P-POP CULTURE Tour is being promoted as a landmark event, with organisers expecting a crowd of 45,000 to 50,000 people, while earlier estimates suggested attendance could cross 70,000. This will be Aujla’s first-ever headline performance at a major Indian stadium, making it one of the largest single-day music events in the capital in recent years.

To ensure public safety and smooth movement, traffic restrictions will remain in place from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM on the day of the concert.

Commuters should also stay alert for real-time updates shared through Delhi Traffic Police social media channels.

What to Expect Inside the Stadium

Beyond traffic arrangements, the concert itself promises a high-octane spectacle. The show will feature a 50-foot stage, massive IMAX-style LED screens, synchronised drone visuals, and immersive production design. Karan Aujla is also expected to make a Michael Jackson-inspired entrance, with reports suggesting he may glide over the audience on a zipline.

A senior production executive said, “We’ve built this show to be truly cinematic and to set an example of how Indian live shows have come of age. We want fans to feel like they’re stepping into an event where every moment is bigger than the last, the production, the energy, and the connection between the fan and the artist. This tour resets what a live concert headlined by a homegrown act can be in India."
