North West, the daughter of Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West, now known as Ye, has had her first headlining concert tour cancelled before it could begin. The 13-year-old was preparing to embark on the Molly x North Kimokawaii Tour with rapper Molly Santana after releasing her debut EP N0rth4evr.
But several scheduled dates have now been marked as cancelled while the tour’s official website is no longer available.
The tour was expected to begin on August 5 in Dallas before making stops across several cities in US and Canada. As of now, no official reason has been announced for the cancellations.
Molly x North Kimokawaii Tour: Several Dates Have Been Canceled
Ticketmaster currently lists the Dallas show on August 5 and the Toronto performance on August 17 as cancelled. In addition, multiple venues that were expected to host the tour either mark the shows as cancelled or no longer display them on their event calendars.
These include scheduled stops in Atlanta on August 8, New York City on August 13, Royal Oak, Michigan, on August 18, Chicago on August 19 and Los Angeles on August 27.
One date continues to remain listed. The August 25 show at The Midway in San Francisco is still visible on the venue’s official website, although there has been no update from the tour organisers regarding its status.
Molly Santana Apologises To Fans
Following the cancellations, rapper Molly Santana shared a message for fans through her Instagram Stories.
Apologising to those who had already purchased tickets, she wrote, “to everyone who bought tickets to the tour i sincerely apologize i know a lot of you have taken time out of your busy schedules and spent your hard earned money planning to be there … i love you all so much & will make this one up to you.”
Santana did not reveal why the tour dates had been cancelled and her statement did not mention whether the concerts would be rescheduled at a later date.
North West Released Her Debut EP Earlier This Year
The Molly x North Kimokawaii Tour was set to become North’s first headlining tour following the release of her debut EP, N0rth4evr, in May.
The project received support from several members of the Kardashian-Jenner family. According to People, Kim’s family, including Kris Jenner, Khloé Kardashian and Rob Kardashian, celebrated the release by sharing videos and posts featuring North’s music on their Instagram Stories.
Earlier this year, North also released the single, Piercing On My Hand, in which she addressed the public attention surrounding her dermal piercing.
North West And Molly Santana’s Recent Collaborations
Before announcing the tour, North West and Molly Santana had already shared the stage together during North’s festival debut at Rolling Loud Miami in May shortly after the release of N0rth4evr.
