Lenin Box Office Collection Start
Lenin enjoyed a promising start at the box office after opening with Rs 7.15 crore on its first Friday. The film witnessed healthy growth over the weekend with collections climbing to Rs 8.85 crore on Saturday before peaking at Rs 9.90 crore on Sunday. The strong three-day performance helped Akkineni starrer build momentum early in its theatrical run.
Like most theatrical releases, the film witnessed a noticeable drop once the working week began. Collections fell to Rs 3.60 crore on its first Monday and further slipped to Rs 3 crore on Tuesday. The downward trend continued through the rest of the week with the film collecting Rs 2.15 crore on Wednesday and Rs 2 crore on Thursday. The second weekend offered the film another opportunity to attract audiences. It earned Rs 1.65 crore on its second Friday before registering an uptick to Rs 2.40 crore on Saturday. Sunday once again proved to be the best performing day of the week as collections rose to Rs 2.90 crore. But the weekday slowdown returned thereafter.
According to Sacnilk, Lenin collected Rs 1.05 crore on its second Monday followed by Rs 0.85 crore on Tuesday and Rs 0.65 crore on Wednesday. The Day 13 collection represents a 23.5 per cent decline from the previous day’s earnings though the film has continued to maintain a presence in theatres across key Telugu markets.
