Lock Upp Season 2 has officially entered its dramatic phase. Content creator and actor Apoorva Mukhija, popularly known as Rebel Kid, entered the show and wasted no time creating a buzz. Within moments of stepping inside the house, she turned towards Shreya Kalra and said, “Sorry bolo (Apologise).”

But what exactly made Apoorva demand an apology from Shreya? The answer goes back to their previous reality show appearance.

Apoorva Mukhija And Shreya Kalra’s Old Feud

Many viewers may not know that Lock Upp is not the first time Apoorva and Shreya have shared screen space. Before entering the reality show, the two contestants participated in Netflix’s Squid Game: The Challenge Creator’s Edition.

While Shreya eventually emerged as the winner, she later opened up about her experience with Apoorva on Uorfi Javed’s podcast. Shreya claimed that she was unhappy with Apoorva’s performance during the competition and felt she did not give her best during tasks.

“I’m very angry with Rebel,” Shreya said while discussing the show. She added that she believed contestants should contribute when they are given an opportunity.

Shreya Kalra Criticised Apoorva Mukhija

During the podcast, Shreya also criticised Apoorva’s approach towards the competition. She claimed that their team suffered because Apoorva did not participate properly in tasks.

“She wasn’t even able to do it. We lost that round because of her. Then why have you come here?” Shreya said. She also accused Apoorva of having an arrogant attitude and said she felt Apoorva behaved as if she was already successful.

Apoorva Mukhija’s Reaction

Apoorva later responded to the criticism through her Instagram stories. She joked about her performance on the show and said she had fun despite not being the strongest competitor.

She said, “I still think I played really well. And by really well, I mean I talked a lot.” Apoorva also joked that people were discussing her performance on podcasts because they did not like it.

Why Did Apoorva Mukhija Ask Shreya Kalra To Apologise?

When Apoorva entered Lock Upp Season 2, she saw her inside the house and immediately asked her to apologise. The moment surprised the other contestants and left fans curious.  Interestingly, the situation became even more complicated as Apoorva was made the leader of the same gang that includes Shreya.

Lock Upp Season 2 is available for streaming on Netflix. Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh are the hosts of the reality show.
