Now, latest reports suggest that the two parties have come to a middle ground and decided to settle matters amicably.
According to a report by Free Press Journal, Ranveer Singh is set to return his signing amount of around Rs 10 crore to Excel Entertainment. Not just this, the Dhurandhar actor has also promised to give the production house a stake in his next project, tentatively titled Pralay. The exact percentage share has, however. not been disclosed. Notably, neither Ranveer Singh nor Farhan Akhtar has issued an official statement over the matter.

The dispute reportedly began when Ranveer suddenly exited Don 3, a project backed by Excel Entertainment. Reports suggest that disagreements over the script and production delays played a role in his decision to step away. The production house then sought a compensation of approximately Rs 40 crore, citing losses from pre-production and scheduling changes. The situation escalated to the point where the Producers Guild of India was reportedly brought in to help mediate between both sides.
Did Aamir Khan Step In to Mediate The Dispute?
Amid the ongoing speculation, there were also claims that Aamir Khan had stepped in to help resolve the dispute. The Bollywood’s ‘perfectionist’, however, denied any involvement later. As of now, the status of Don 3 remains unclear, with no official statement from the makers.
