The return of The Traitors Season 2 on Amazon Prime Video has already brought a lot of drama, deception, and a few really off-guard twists. It’s hosted by Karan Johar and the reality show basically pulls in a lineup of popular faces, including Aaditya Kulshreshth (Kullu), Abhishek Malhan, Shweta Tiwari, Rhea Chakraborty, Ranveer Brar and Mallika Sherawat. From the very start the game got intense, like faster than you’d expect, with Dalip Tahil becoming the first one to leave after ending up with the lowest number of gold coins during one of those twist moments. After that, Karan Singh Magic was targeted and ended up becoming the first contestant to be murdered by the hidden traitors. Munawar Faruqui Reacts After Early Elimination From The Traitors Season 2
During the first “circle of shaq,” the tension quickly escalated when Munawar Faruqui named Mallika Sherawat as his suspected traitor, yet instead of fully backing his theory, a few contestants sort of shifted their attention towards Munawar and accused him of playing the game too strategically. In the end, he managed to receive the highest number of votes and was eliminated early in the game. After the decision was final, Munawar addressed the contestants and said he had more or less expected to be targeted because of his strong gameplay.
‘Insecure bunch of people’: Munawar Calls Out Contestants For Targeting Him
Standing in front of the other contestants, Munawar Faruqui kind of openly voiced his frustration after getting voted out. He said they were an “insecure bunch of people” and also added that they were targeting him because they felt threatened by his presence in the game, like honestly. As per Munawar, the contestants were worried that he could outsmart them and end up taking control of the game. Then when Karan Johar asked him to say whether he was a traitor or if he was innocent, Munawar got pretty emotional, insisting he was innocent and that he was just playing the game strategically.
Munawar Reveals He Was Playing As An Innocent Before Being Voted Out
Before he left the estate, Munawar said, sort of, that he was actually innocent and he had not been acting like a traitor. This announcement landed as a shock for the other contestants who had already pushed him out at the very first Circle of Shaq. While that was happening, the real traitors, Kullu, Krystle D’Souza Harman Singha and the freshly recruited Shahneel Gill, somehow stayed out of sight. When Munawar got eliminated so early, the faithful might have accidentally shed one of their most solid players, which could make it even more difficult for them to spot the real traitors as the game keeps moving ahead.

After Munawar’s dramatic exit, the rest of the contestants now have to live with this rising suspicion, shifting alliances and kind of that heavy doubt, over whether they really made the correct call or not. As the whole game keeps going, viewers should get ready for more surprise turns, sharper tactics and really heated confrontations.
