Netflix Maa Behen Release Date Out: Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri’s‘ Crime Comedy Set to Release On This Date, Teaser Out Tomorrow

Maa Behen, a quirky crime comedy is all set to release on 4th June, 2026, exclusively on Netflix.

Madhuri Dixit’s upcoming film ‘Maa Behen’ has garnered a lot of buzz. Now, the streaming giant has confirmed the official release date for the film, which will hit the screens next month. 

Maa Behen Release Date 

Maa Behen is all set to hit Netflix on 4th June, 2026. The release date is special, as it also marks the 59th birthday of lead star Madhuri Dixit.

“The most awaited kaand is coming, for mothers, sisters and the entire fam Maa Behen, coming soon, only on Netflix”, Netflix said in an Instagram post. The post also included character posters and the reveal that the official teaser will release tomorrow. 

Maa Behen Cast: Who’s Starring? 

Maa Behen has a big ensemble cast that includes Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Arunoday Singh and Shardul Bhardwaj. Dharna Durgaa and Ravi Kishan are also expected to play key roles in the upcoming crime comedy.

Maa Behen Plot 

Maa Behen revolves around a single mother, Rekha (Madhuri Dixit), who lives with her two daughters Jaya (Triptii Dimri) and Sushma (Dharna Durgaa). Rekha already has a lot on her plate, while trying to juggle things. Things quickly start to spiral after the trio unexpectedly discover a corpse in their kitchen. 

Maa Behen: What to Expect

Maa Behen is a quirky and addictive crime comedy. The film promises unexpected twists, hilarious characters and a plot that handles humour with nuance. It also teases viewers by showing Madhuri Dixit and Ravi Kishan in never seen before roles. 

While speaking about the film, producer Vikram Malhotra said “Maa Behen is the kind of story that hooks you with its audacious premise and stays with you for its emotional truth.”

“Beneath the chaos and the humour, is a deeply human story about family, society and the choices people make to survive in this judgmental world. What excited us as at Abundantia was building a world that feels both wildly entertaining and instantly relatable. And of course, the opportunity to join hands with the amazing Suresh Triveni once again.”

The film, is directed by Suresh Triveni of ‘Tumhari Sulu’ fame who’s known for his sensitive storytelling. Abundantia Entertainment is producing the film, in association with Opening Image Films.
