Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and superstar Pawan Kalyan posted a sweet message for Ram Charan on Wednesday. He shared a post on X wishing “glory, success and love” for the actor and the team of his upcoming film Peddi. Kalyan, in his post, also linked Ram Charan’s name to Lord Hanuman’s devotion, strength and surrender.
The post read, “Pawan Kalyan Creative Works wishes Mega Power Star Ram Charan and the entire Team Peddi a grand success.”
It added, “The name Ram Charan itself is another revered name associated with Lord Hanuman and reflects devotion, strength and surrender at the feet of Lord Rama, the eternal virtues embodied by Lord Hanuman. May Lord Hanuman remove every obstacle from the path of Peddi and bless the entire team with glory, success, and the love and affection of audiences across the world.”
Elated, Ram Charan was quick enough to respond to Kalyan’s endearing message for him. He wrote, “Thank you for the warm wishes, Pawan Kalyan Garu. Your words mean a lot to me and the entire team of Peddi. Grateful for your love, support and blessings always.”
Peddi: Storyline And Cast
Peddi, set to release on June 4, is set against a rural backdrop. The story follows a talented sportsman played by Ram Charan. According to reports, the character unites his community through sports against a powerful enemy sports while navigating personal struggles.
Besides Ram Charan, the film stars Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. Interestingly, the film will also feature a special song with Shruti Haasan, dancing alongside the protagonist. The music of the film has been composed by AR Rahman.
The makers confirmed that Peddi has premieres scheduled for June 3 a day before its theatrical arrival. The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
Peddi OTT Release: Where To Watch
Reportedly, the post-theatrical streaming rights for Peddi have been acquired by OTT giant Netflix. While neither the makers nor the streaming giant have officially announced the digital release date, the platform has been widely reported to have gobbled up the rights to premiere the film digitally.
As for the release date, it solely depends on the theatrical performance and distribution agreements.
