Despite a noticeable 22.2% slide from Tuesday’s haul of Rs 9.70 crore, the film’s massive initial momentum has successfully carried its cumulative domestic total to Rs 187.25 crore net. Globally, Peddi continues to flex its muscles, officially crossing the coveted Rs 270 crore gross milestone at the worldwide box office within its first week of release.

The first Wednesday proved to be a reality check for the film’s pan-India ambitions. While the movie opened to a massive Rs 51 crore, its first week closed out with standard post-weekend normalization.
The primary drop-off came from the Hindi and Tamil dubs, leaving the core Telugu states to do the heavy lifting. On Day 7, Peddi managed a cumulative domestic gross of Rs 8.89 crore, pushing its total Indian gross past the Rs 222 crore mark.

The home turf of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana remains the undisputed life support system for Peddi. The Telugu version registered a decent 21.58% overall occupancy on Wednesday, with evening and night shows spiking past 25% in major centres.
Visakhapatnam took the charge with a strong 35% theatre occupancy, with a close second Mahbubnagar at 32.5%. Outside the Telugu belt, the response remained relatively quiet. The Hindi version was at a quiet 9.25% overall occupancy, signalling that the film hasn’t fully took over the North Indian market yet.
