Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor’s Peddi witnessed another drop on Day 8 as weekday trends continued. Despite slowing collections, the sports drama remains strong thanks to robust Telugu market support and overseas earnings, with its worldwide gross now nearing the ₹280 crore mark.

Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor’s Peddi is now kind of feeling the usual weekday slowdown at the box office. It had a solid start and an impressive opening weekend, but afterward the sports action drama saw its daily earnings slowly slip as the first week went by. The film’s income dropped under the double-digit range after Monday, and on Day 8 it added a modest chunk to the domestic total. Even if the numbers look lower than those opening days, there still isn’t any real big reason to worry. Because the film pulled in such huge collections during that first weekend, Peddi is still sitting comfortably, and overall it’s holding up pretty well at the box office.

Ram Charan Starrer Witnesses Another Drop on Day 8 Collections

The big opening-week buzz around Peddi has kind of started to ease a bit the moment the movie moves into its second week in theatres. After that blockbuster first hit day one, when things were really flying, the collections then took a steadier nosedive over the next days. The drop felt even more clear during the weekdays, and Thursday saw a small decline compared to the numbers from Wednesday. Even so, the Ram Charan starrer is still holding up well, and its India net collection is now edging closer towards the ₹200 crore level. Trade watchers say that yeah, daily footfalls have gone down, but the film’s steady, unbroken momentum is still keeping it ahead of a handful of past solo regional releases.

Telugu Markets Continue to Drive ‘Peddi’ Box Office Run

The film’s biggest strength has sort of come from its home turf, which is a bit ironic. While the Hindi belt and a few northern markets gave a pretty muted response at the box office, audiences in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh kept showing strong support. Mass centres, and key markets across Coastal Andhra played a major part in the film’s collections, and because of that, it managed to land among the highest-grossing releases of the opening week in the region. That kind of regional backing has largely compensated for the film’s weaker performance elsewhere in the country.

Film Holds Strong Overseas as Global Gross Nears Major Milestone

The movie has also done pretty great overseas, which sort of gave a big boost to its box office numbers overall. International viewers have reacted in a positive way, and that helped Peddi climb past ₹50 crore in overseas collections. When you add that to its solid domestic earnings, the worldwide total is now slowly inching toward ₹280 crore. This overall global momentum also feels like it underscores Ram Charan’s rising pull with audiences across different markets, really.

Can the Weekend Push ‘Peddi’ Past the ₹300 Crore Mark?

Now, everyone’s looking at the upcoming weekend to see if Peddi can bounce back and start moving with a bit more pace at the box office. Right now, there are no huge releases stepping in to steal attention, and the theatres have a pretty clear path. If family audiences and the casual moviegoers show up in decent numbers, the film might end up crossing the ₹300 crore mark worldwide pretty comfortably, and that would further lock in its stance as one of the biggest box-office successes of the year.
