Priyanka Chopra is set to headline a new Hollywood survival thriller titled Reset, which is expected to begin production this August. The film will be directed by Matt Smukler and will also star Orlando Bloom in a key role.
The upcoming project marks Priyanka’s next major international outing. In Reset, she plays a woman who suddenly wakes up alone in a remote wilderness with no memory of how she got there. Cut off from civilisation and struggling to survive, she is forced to depend on a mysterious stranger. But as questions around his real identity begin to surface, she finds herself torn between trust and suspicion.
Director Matt Smukler, known for the 2020 drama Wildflower, said the chemistry between Priyanka and Orlando made them the perfect fit for the film. Speaking to Deadline, he shared, “I was looking for a pairing where attraction and mistrust could effortlessly coexist. Priyanka and Orlando have this uncanny ability to make you believe both at once. Their chemistry is undeniable.”
Reset is being produced by Jon Hoeber and Erich Hoeber under Fratricidal Films, alongside Michael Lazarovitch for Chemically Altered and Matthew Rhodes of Rhodes Entertainment. Priyanka’s Purple Pebble Pictures and Orlando Bloom’s Amazing Owl are also backing the project, while Nadine de Barros joins as executive producer.

Meanwhile, Citadel is gearing up for its second season on Amazon Prime Video. The action-packed series returns with even higher stakes after ending its debut season on a cliffhanger. Season 2 picks up with Stanley Tucci’s Bernard Orlick trapped by antagonist Paulo Braga, played by Gabriel Leone.
The new season attempts to answer lingering questions surrounding Nadia and Mason, nearly three years after the events of the first season. While the storyline expands on the world of Citadel, some viewers may feel the pace is rushed, with certain plot points not explored as deeply as expected despite the show’s ambitious setup.
What Happened In Citadel Season 1?
In the first season, Citadel was introduced as a powerful global spy agency that was destroyed by Manticore, a dangerous crime syndicate run by eight influential families. Two agents survived the attack, but their memories were wiped clean. Spymaster Bernard later tracks them down, hoping they can recover their memories and reunite to take down Manticore once and for all.
