The highly-anticipated movie version of the Indian epic, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, has come out with an advertisement that is comparatively less grandiose. For Ganesh Chaturthi, the makers have released the motion poster for the first time. They chose to focus on the quiet bond between Ram and Sita instead. In the motion poster, Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Ram. Sai Pallavi plays Sita. The two sit close together on a moss-covered rock. The forest around them looks deep green, and a calm river moves nearby.

The second movie is slated for release in October 2027. This additional time allows the team to develop a story world and visuals, as well as to maintain the epic elements of the story.

Turning a tale as huge as the Ramayana into a film is not easy. It takes a cast with real weight. This movie has pulled together many faces people already know from Indian cinema. Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi play Lord Ram and Sita. Ravi Dubey steps in as Lakshmana. Arun Govil, who many remember from the 1990s show where he played Lord Ram, will be seen as King Dasharatha. Yash is set to play Ravan. Sunny Deol will be Hanuman. Rakul Preet Singh takes on the role of Surpanakha.

Ramayana Production Scale And Massive Budget Behind Nitesh Tiwari’s Magnum Opus

As per reports, the movie is being produced on a budget of approximately Rs 4,000 crore and is said to be one of the costliest Indian movies.
