Shreya Kalra Lifts Lock Upp Season 2 Trophy, Beats Shivangi Joshi And Yogesh Rawat To Win Rs 1 Crore In Grand Finale

Shreya Kalra has emerged as the winner of Lock Upp Season 2 after defeating fellow finalists Shivangi Joshi and Yogesh Rawat in the grand finale.

Shreya Kalra has emerged as the winner of Lock Upp Season 2. The social media influencer lifted the winner’s trophy and walked away with a cash prize of Rs 1 crore after defeating fellow finalists Shivangi Joshi and Yogesh Rawat in the grand finale.

The finale was hosted by Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan, who announced Shreya as the winner after the final round of voting. Shivangi Joshi finished as the first runner-up while Yogesh Rawat secured the second runner-up position. Ram Kapoor and Shilpa Shinde rounded off the top five after being eliminated in the final stages of the competition.

Ram Kapoor And Shilpa Shinde Fall Short Of Top Three

The grand finale began with all five finalists battling for a place in the last three. The contestants were first assigned a puzzle-based challenge where the participant with the highest number of incorrect pieces would be eliminated.

Ram Kapoor failed to complete the task successfully and became the first finalist to exit amd finished in fifth place.

The remaining four contestants then faced another challenge in which they had to convince each other to pick mystery boxes. The objective was to avoid selecting the box marked “Terminated.”

Yogesh Rawat, Shreya Kalra and Shivangi Joshi managed to outplay Shilpa Shinde during the taskher to pick the losing box. Her elimination ended her journey in fourth place, leaving Shreya, Shivangi and Yogesh as the final three contestants.

Jury Questions Finalists Before Winner Is Announced

Before the final result was declared, the top three contestants faced questions from a jury comprising media professionals and actors.

Yogesh Rawat was questioned about his behaviour and attitude inside the house while Shivangi Joshi was asked about her bond with Harshad Chopda and allegations that she manipulated him during the game.

Shreya Kalra, meanwhile, received praise for her gameplay but also faced questions over her accusation that Ram Kapoor had made her uncomfortable inside the house. She was also confronted over her language and some of her remarks during the season.

Influencer Awez Darbar questioned Shreya over claims that she had influenced her former partner to make allegations against him during his stint on Bigg Boss 19. Actress Mannara Chopra also asked Shivangi to clarify her relationship with Harshad Chopda.

Following the jury interaction, Yogesh Rawat was eliminated which left Shreya and Shivangi as the final two contestants. Based on votes from the jury, former contestants and the jailers, Ekta Kapoor announced Shreya Kalra as the winner of Lock Upp Season 2.

Shreya Kalra’s Journey Inside The House

Shreya entered Lock Upp and carried the image of being outspoken and unapologetic. She went on to establishw herself as one of the season’s most talked-about contestants.

Her early argument with Ram Kapoor during the premiere episode put her in the spotlight. Throughout the competition, she was involved in several heated confrontations with contestants like Akanksha Choudhary, Yogesh Rawat, Shivangi Joshi and Harshad Chopda.

Despite often finding herself isolated from the rest of the house, Shreya remained vocal and continued to challenge fellow contestants whenever disagreements arose.
