Shreya Kalra has barely stepped out of the Lock Upp 2 house with the winner’s trophy but fans are already wondering what could be next for the reality show star. After defeating Shivangi Joshi, Yogesh Rawat, Shilpa Shinde and Ram Kapoor to win the second season of Lock Upp, Shreya has found herself at the centre of speculation about another major reality show.

In a voice note shared on her Instagram channel, Shreya responded to the questions surrounding her possible participation in Bigg Boss 20. The reality star joked about having just walked out of a ‘pagalkhana’ after her experience on Lock Upp 2 and explained that the show had taken a significant mental toll on her.
“Doston, jo mujhe puch raha hai ki main Bigg Boss jaungi ki nahi? Main just abhi ek pagal khaane se nikalke aayi hu. I am not planning to do any reality show as a contestant right now. Because it was mentally exhausting, very taxing. So abhi to nahi. Filhaal no Bigg Boss 20 for me. (Friends, for those of you asking whether I’m going to Bigg Boss or not, I’ve just come out of a madhouse! I’m not planning to do any reality show as a contestant right now because it was mentally exhausting and very taxing. So, not for now. For the time being, no Bigg Boss for me),” Shreya said.
Her statement clearly rules out that she is not joining the popular reality show.
Shreya Kalra Is Open To Hosting And Mentoring
While Shreya has said no to entering another reality show as a contestant, she has not completely closed the door on reality television.
The influencer said she would be interested in taking up a different role behind or alongside the contestants. She specifically mentioned hosting, mentoring and even becoming a gang leader as opportunities she would be excited to explore.
“But if I get an opportunity to host, mentor, or be a gang leader, I would be really excited and would love to do that. But as a contestant? No, bro. It’s just too much to take in,” she said.
When Is Bigg Boss 20 Premiering?
Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 20 is gearing up for its new season with Salman Khan as the host. The reality show is scheduled to premiere on September 6, 2026.
