Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may have kept their wedding incredibly private but nearly two months after their big day, tiny glimpses of what actually happened inside Madison Square Garden are still making their way out. Now, comedian and self-confessed Swiftie Nikki Glaser, who was among the guests, has shared some hilarious and surprisingly revealing details about the celebration.
And one thing apparently made the wedding very different from the usual A-list party: some of the biggest celebrities in the room were completely on their own.
According to Glaser, several stars attended without their usual plus-ones or the entourage that typically follows them everywhere. Even Jennifer Lopez, one of the most recognisable names at the wedding, was apparently flying solo.
“It was so wild,” Glaser said during her residency at Caesars Palace Las Vegas on September 4, as per audio obtained by Page Six.
“It was interesting because some of these celebrities were alone, and these people are never alone. Like, some [allegedly] didn’t get plus-ones, and they just had to go to this event alone. And, because they always have a publicist or assistant, or a blood boy; there’s always someone with these people. But, like, J. Lo was alone.”
So, what was going on inside Taylor and Travis’ ultra-secret wedding? Here’s everything Nikki Glaser has revealed so far.
Where Did Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Get Married?
Taylor and Travis tied the knot on July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Yes, the same massive Manhattan arena better known for basketball, hockey and huge concerts became the setting for one of the most talked-about celebrity weddings of the year.
The choice of venue also helped the couple pull off something that was surprisingly difficult for two of the most famous people on the planet: keeping their wedding private.
Around 1,000 guests attended the celebration, while strict security measures were put in place around the venue. Guests were required to follow tight privacy rules such as surrendering their phones, which meant there were no casual selfies, Instagram Stories or behind-the-scenes videos flooding social media.
Why Were Celebrities Attending Alone?
This may be one of the funniest details to emerge from the wedding. Glaser noticed that some of the A-listers inside Madison Square Garden were without their usual companions. For celebrities who are normally accompanied by assistants, publicists, friends or partners, seeing them navigate a huge event alone apparently felt unusual.
Jennifer Lopez was one such guest. Lopez was photographed arriving at the wedding in a dramatic black ballgown, but according to Glaser, she spent the evening without a plus-one.
The comedian even ended up spending time with Lopez during the celebration.
“I kind of know J .Lo, so I was like, ‘Hey!’ And she was like, ‘Oh my God, Nikki,’ and she threw her coat at me,” Glaser joked. “I was just kind of carrying her things around … but we went to the bathroom together. We were, like, pals all night.”
Who Attended Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce’s Wedding?
Among those reported to have attended were Jennifer Lopez, Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid, Dakota Johnson, Camila Cabello, Mariska Hargitay, Zoë Kravitz and Hugh Grant.
Other major stars seen or reported inside the celebration included Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise.
The guest list also included people from Swift and Kelce’s respective inner circles, along with fellow musicians, actors and sports personalities.
Who Officiated Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce’s Wedding?
Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony. Swift’s brother Austin Swift served as her man of honour while Kelce’s brother Jason Kelce was his best man. The ceremony was followed by a large reception inside Madison Square Garden.
