Taylor Swift just had one of Hollywood’s greatest directors filming her personal dance video. The pop superstar had an unexpected cameraman during her Songwriters Hall of Fame celebration on June 11 and it is none other than Steven Spielberg.
A viral video from the event shows Swift and fiancé Travis Kelce dancing as John Fogerty performed Fortunate Son. The singer was initially recording the moment on her phone herself but things took an interesting turn.

Spielberg, who was sitting at the same table, stepped in to help. The 36-year-old singer happily handed over her phone and the Oscar-winning director took over camera duties. He filmed the couple as they danced and enjoyed the evening. Miss Americana is surely one of kind having Spielberg recording her.

One fan joked, “I know Spielberg is working his brain to get Taylor in one of his films!”
Another wrote, “Imagine your home videos being filmed by Steven Spielberg I’m dead.”
“This is genuinely insane,” someone else commented while a person added, “Taylor Swift filmed by Steven Spielberg wasn’t on my bingo card.”
Taylor Swift Becomes Youngest Woman In Songwriters Hall Of Fame
The fun moment came during a huge night for Swift. The singer officially became the youngest woman ever inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame at age 36. The previous record belonged to Carole Bayer Sager who was inducted at 43. Only Stevie Wonder entered the Hall at a younger age overall who received the honour at 32.
Swift joins the Songwriters Hall of Fame’s 2026 class including Alanis Morissette, Kenny Loggins, Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of Kiss, Terry Britten and Graham Lyle, and Walter Afanasieff.
To qualify for the Hall of Fame, songwriters must wait 20 years after releasing their first commercial song. Swift’s journey began with Tim McGraw back in 2006.

Swift had plenty of support in the room for the milestone. Her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, were there for the celebration along with Donna Kelce, Travis Kelce’s mother.
The induction is just the latest stop in what has been a busy few weeks for the singer. She recently attended Game 4 of the NBA Finals with sisters Alana and Este Haim and also made an appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of Toy Story 5.
