Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey is just days away from hitting the big screen and fans are wasting no time booking their seats. But those planning to watch the epic on premium screens may have to loosen their purse strings. Advance bookings are now live across India and ticket prices have climbed well above what moviegoers usually expect especially for IMAX and recliner seats.
While regular seats are available at comparatively lower prices, premium experiences in several cities are crossing the Rs 2,000 mark, with one location even touching Rs 3,400. Here’s how ticket prices compare across major cities.
The Odyssey Ticket Prices In Delhi NCR
Delhi NCR has a wide range of ticket prices depending on the cinema and show timing. At PVR IMAX With Laser, Priya, recliner seats for the 4:45 PM show are priced at Rs 2,500, while other major screenings during the day are available for Rs 2,100.
At PVR Select City Walk, recliner seats are priced up to Rs 2,400, while classic seats range between Rs 900 and Rs 1,100.
Moviegoers booking at PVR Superplex Logix, Noida can expect recliner tickets priced at Rs 1,800 to Rs 1,850, with standard seats available between Rs 800 and Rs 1,100.
For those looking to spend less, INOX Coca Cola IMAX, Nehru Place currently has the lowest available ticket in the region, starting at Rs 520 for select shows.
The Odyssey Ticket Prices In Mumbai
Mumbai is among the costliest cities to watch The Odyssey. At PVR ICON, Phoenix Palladium, Lower Parel, recliner seats are selling for Rs 3,100 across multiple shows. Standard seating at the venue ranges between Rs 700 and Rs 1,000.
Meanwhile, Miraj Cinemas IMAX, Wadala has recliner seats priced at Rs 2,500, while other ticket categories range from Rs 900 to Rs 2,000.
Several other premium theatres across Mumbai are also charging between Rs 1,300 and Rs 1,800 for recliner seats.
The Odyssey Ticket Prices In Bengaluru
Premium viewing in Bengaluru is also expected to cost movie lovers a fair amount. At Cinepolis Nexus Shantiniketan, ticket prices have gone up to Rs 1,950 across several shows.
Meanwhile, PVR VR Bengaluru, Whitefield Road has multiple ticket categories priced at Rs 1,200, Rs 1,550, Rs 1,650 and Rs 1,850, depending on the show and seating option.
The Odyssey Ticket Prices In Kolkata
Compared to some other metro cities, Kolkata offers a slightly lighter hit to the wallet.
At INOX South City Mall, ticket prices go up to Rs 1,240 for select screenings while some morning and evening shows are available at comparatively lower rates.
The Odyssey Ticket Prices In Pune
Pune has some of the most expensive premium seats after Mumbai. At INOX Megaplex Phoenix Palassio Mall, ticket prices begin at Rs 1,600 and go all the way up to Rs 3,400 for recliner seats, depending on the show timing.
The Odyssey Ticket Prices In Ahmedabad
In Ahmedabad, PVR Palladium Mall has regular tickets start from Rs 700 while recliner seats are priced up to Rs 1,900 for premium screenings.
