Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups may have slowed down considerably after its massive opening, but the film is still inching towards another major box-office milestone.

After opening at over Rs 100 crore in India, the Geetu Mohandas directorial has now entered its second weekend. On Day 11, Toxic witnessed a slight jump at the ticket windows, taking its India net collection closer to the Rs 250 crore mark.

How Much Did Toxic Earn On Day 11?

Toxic earned an estimated Rs 2.04 crore net in India on Day 11, according to Sacnilk figures. The film had registered Rs 1.75 crore on Friday, meaning Saturday brought a modest improvement of around 16.6%.

The latest collection takes the film’s total India net earnings to Rs 243.09 crore. Its India gross collection stands at around Rs 290.20 crore.

With less than Rs 7 crore separating the film from the Rs 250 crore India net milestone, the next few days will be crucial for Toxic.

Toxic Crosses Rs 333 Crore Worldwide

The Yash-starrer has performed better when its international business is added to the domestic total. Toxic has collected around Rs 43.25 crore overseas, bringing its worldwide gross to Rs 333.45 crore after 11 days, as per the latest reported figures.

The worldwide total is particularly notable, given the film’s sharp decline in domestic earnings after its blockbuster opening.

The film had started its theatrical run with an estimated Rs 101.10 crore India net on Day 1, but collections dropped significantly from the second day onwards.

Which Version Is Driving Toxic’s Box Office?

The Kannada version continues to be the biggest contributor to Toxic’s domestic earnings, with the Hindi version also adding substantially to the overall total.

The film has been released in multiple languages as the makers attempt to maximise its reach. However, the strong opening has not translated into sustained day-to-day momentum at the Indian box office. The film’s performance has also been affected by mixed audience and critical reactions, with screenplay, pacing and the film’s darker themes among the aspects discussed in reviews.

Can Toxic Cross Rs 250 Crore In India?

At Rs 243.09 crore India net, Toxic is now within striking distance of Rs 250 crore. The question is how quickly it can get there. The Saturday jump offers some relief after the film recorded its lowest single-day collection on Friday. However, the numbers remain considerably lower than its opening-day haul.

With its worldwide collection already above Rs 333 crore, the film has crossed a major global milestone. But domestically, all eyes are now on whether Toxic can add the final few crores needed to enter the Rs 250 crore club.
