Dakota Johnson And Anne Hathaway’s Thriller Gets A Slow Start

The movie stars two of Hollywood’s biggest draws, and it brings a dark, tense story from a well-known recent book. In the morning and afternoon showings, ticket lines stayed light. Because of that, it missed out on the kind of loud first-day numbers that people usually track early. Even so, enough viewers were curious to see Johnson and Hathaway together.

Verity Struggles To Make A Strong Impact At The Indian Box Office

As far as big-budget event films go, there have been many obstacles in the way of Verity forming a swift impact on the vast Indian market. Psychological thrillers usually have a narrow reach and are not mass-oriented films due to their serious tone. This is one reason that the box-office opening numbers have remained within the two-crore mark for the movie.

With the weekend in motion, people are watching to see if Verity can keep the good chatter going and move higher. At the same time, the wait is mostly about how tickets are selling.
