Suriya’s Vishwanath & Sons has had a solid run through its opening weekend with the film seeing its collections climb after a decent start in theatres. The family drama recorded its strongest numbers on Saturday before maintaining momentum on Sunday. But with the weekend coming to an end, the film faced its first major weekday test on Monday when collections dropped sharply compared to Sunday.
Vishwanath & Sons Box Office Collection Day 4
According to Sacnilk, Vishwanath & Sons collected Rs 7.50 crore net in India on Day 4, its first Monday. The collection represents a 63.5 per cent drop from the previous day’s Rs 20.55 crore.
The film recorded an overall occupancy of 27.9 per cent across 4,962 shows on Monday. The Tamil version collected Rs 3.65 crore while the Telugu version brought in Rs 3.85 crore.
Despite the Monday dip, the film has crossed the Rs 65 crore mark in India within four days. Its total India gross collection currently stands at Rs 75.88 crore.
The film opened with Rs 15.35 crore on Friday, followed by a strong jump to Rs 22.25 crore on Saturday. Sunday remained healthy at Rs 20.55 crore before Monday saw the expected weekday slowdown.

Day 1: Rs 15.35 crore
Day 2: Rs 22.25 crore
Day 3: Rs 20.55 crore
Day 4: Rs 7.50 crore
The opening weekend total stood at Rs 58.15 crore net.
Vishwanath & Sons Worldwide Box Office Collection
The film has also recorded a sizeable overseas contribution. According to Sacnilk, Vishwanath & Sons earned Rs 2 crore from overseas markets on Day 4. The total overseas gross collection now stands at Rs 45 crore.
With its India gross at Rs 75.88 crore and overseas gross at Rs 45 crore, the film’s worldwide gross collection has reached Rs 120.88 crore after four days.
