This year, on Aamir Khan’s 60th birthday, he made an exciting announcement during a media interaction. For the first time ever, he officially presented Gauri Spratt to the public. Aamir explained that they’ve known each other for ages—way back 25 years—and are now serious partners. They’ve been together for a year and a half, he noted.

Gauri Spratt grew up in Bengaluru, where her mom, Rita, ran a salon. Gauri studied at Blue Mountain School and then took a fashion course in styling and photography at the University of the Arts London in 2004. Her LinkedIn says this is where she got her FDA Styling & Photography qualification. Today, she works at a BBlunt salon in Mumbai and also has stuff going on with Aamir Khan’s production house, as the actor mentioned. Oh, and reports say she’s the mom to a 6-year-old kid. Even though she’s kept a low profile for quite some time, her recent connection with a mega Bollywood star put her in the limelight again.

Before falling for Gauri, Aamir Khan had been married twice. He wed childhood sweetheart Reena Dutta in 1986 in a small ceremony. Together, they had two kids: Junaid and Ira.
