The offer Amy declined was substantial, according to her podcast appearance with content creator Safwan Nazri, the proposal included a bungalow, a car, 10 acres of land and a monthly allowance of RM50,000, roughly equivalent to Rs. 11 lakh. The man behind the proposal reportedly held the Malaysian honorific title of Datuk and already had two wives. Despite the lavish benefits, Amy, with her mother’s support, firmly said no, emphasizing that her worth could not be measured in property or money.
The proposal which allegedly took place in 2019 when Amy was presented as a straightforward trade become the third wife and receive instant wealth and social elevation. However, Amy described the offer as something she could not accept because it was against her values. She revealed that this was a joint decision with her mother and explicitly stating she would not sell her daughter, reinforcing the importance of family guidance and moral boundaries in her life choices.
Amy clarified that material wealth is not her priority in a relationship while she does appreciate financial stability, emotional connection and physical attraction are equally significant.
