The makers recently welcomed Vosloo to Indian cinema by unveiling his first look from the film. He will play Sir Theodore Hector, a ruthless character described as the “Demon of Drought.” The striking poster was released on the actor’s birthday, instantly creating buzz among fans.

Arnold Vosloo became a global star after portraying the ancient Egyptian priest Imhotep in The Mummy (1999) and The Mummy Returns (2001). His chilling performance remains one of Hollywood’s most memorable villain portrayals, earning him a dedicated fan following worldwide.
Over the years, Vosloo has built an impressive filmography packed with action-packed and intense roles. He has appeared in films such as Hard Target, Agent Cody Banks, Blood Diamond, Silverton Siege, and the GI Joe franchise, where he played the villainous Zartan.

Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Ranabaali is a historical action drama set during the colonial era and inspired by lesser-known chapters of India’s past.
The film stars Vijay Deverakonda as a fierce warrior, while Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife, Jayamma. Recent behind-the-scenes footage showed Vijay undergoing intense horse-riding training and physical preparation for the role, further raising anticipation among fans.
Ranabaali is produced by Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers in association with T-Series. The project marks the on-screen reunion of Vijay and Rashmika for the first time after the wedding.
With Arnold Vosloo joining the cast as the menacing Sir Theodore Hector, Ranabaali has added an international touch to its already ambitious lineup. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on September 11.
