She then rushed towards Shekhar, wrapped him in a warm hug and later danced with him to her hit song Laavan. Before leaving the stage, Shekhar blew her a kiss, while Jasmine appeared emotional as the crowd cheered for the couple.

While the moment has taken over social media, many fans are also curious to know more about the woman behind chartbusters like Illegal Weapon, Taras, and Shararat.

Who Is Jasmine Sandlas?

Jasmine Sandlas was reportedly born in Jalandhar, Punjab, before moving to Stockton, California, with her family at a young age. Growing up in the US, she stayed deeply connected to Punjabi music and culture.

Her musical journey began in 2007 with the release of her debut single Muskan. The song found an audience almost immediately and introduced listeners to Jasmine’s distinctive voice.

While Jasmine had already made a name for herself in Punjabi music, it was Salman Khan’s 2014 blockbuster Kick that brought her into the Bollywood spotlight.
