Connor Murphy, a fitness YouTuber known for his bodybuilding and looksmaxxing content, has reportedly died in Thailand at the age of 32. According to Thai outlet ThaiRath, Murphy was seen displaying unusual behaviour before the incident.
The publication reported that a village employee recorded Murphy offering money to a driver, approaching another person’s car, shouting loudly, rolling on the road and making praying gestures. ThaiRath further claimed that emergency responders were called to a luxury residential area in the Bang Phli district of Samut Prakan province at around 3 PM local time on July 7 after receiving reports of a foreign man acting erratically and entering a lake.
According to the outlet, Murphy ran into the residential village and entered the lake before police could intervene. Witnesses reportedly told ThaiRath that he continued swimming until he became exhausted and disappeared in water believed to be more than 10 metres deep. Rescue divers later recovered his body around 20 metres from the shore after searching for about 30 minutes. Authorities reportedly found no visible signs of assault during the initial examination. The body has been sent for an autopsy and toxicology tests, and officials are continuing their investigation.
