Jennifer Precious Finch was born on August 5, 1966, in Los Angeles. She was adopted as an infant by Robert Edward Finch, an aeronautics engineer, and Sandra Jacobson.
After her parents separated, Jennifer was raised by her father, who encouraged her love for music from a young age. He enrolled her in guitar lessons and introduced her to live concerts, helping spark a passion that would shape her future. Following his death in 1995, Jennifer adopted “Precious” as her middle name in his memory.
Despite spending decades in the public eye, she kept her personal life private and rarely spoke about romantic relationships or immediate family.
Career And Net Worth
Jennifer joined L7 in the mid-1980s and went on to tour with legendary bands including Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins and Beastie Boys. She also co-founded Rock for Choice, supporting reproductive rights through music.
