Country music singer Bailey Zimmerman has announced the cancellation of his 2026 UK and Europe tour which also includes his scheduled headline performance at The Long Road Festival. The announcement comes just weeks before the tour was set to begin.
Zimmerman shared the update with fans through his social media accounts where he confirmed that while he will complete his remaining North American concerts in August, he will not be travelling to the UK and Europe as originally planned.
Bailey Zimmerman Explains Why He Cancelled His UK And Europe Shows
Addressing fans directly, Zimmerman said the decision was not an easy one but added that his family needs his attention at this time.
“I wanted to let you all know personally that I unfortunately have to cancel my UK/Europe shows,” he wrote.
“This was not an easy decision and it kills me to have to cancel because I know how excited everyone is… but right now I need to take this time to focus on important family matters. Everything is okay, it’s just my family needs my attention and that’s what I’ve gotta do.”
The singer also confirmed that his scheduled North American performances in August will still take place before he takes a break.
“I will still be playing my shows in North America in August, but after that I will be taking some more time to focus on me, my family, and new music. Once again, I’m so sorry to everybody that has waited so long… I hope y’all can understand that my family has to come first. Thank you for having my back on this crazy ride we call life.”
Headline Festival Appearance Also Cancelled
As part of the cancelled tour, Zimmerman was due to headline The Long Road Festival on August 29. The performance would have marked his first appearance in the UK in more than two years.
The singer had previously toured the UK and Europe in 2024 with several shows selling out. His return had been highly anticipated by fans.
Organisers of The Long Road Festival are now expected to announce a replacement act before the event begins.
Is The Cancellation Linked To Bailey Zimmerman’s Earlier Legal Case?
Although Zimmerman cited family matters as the reason for cancelling the tour, some fans have questioned whether the decision is connected to an incident that made headlines earlier this year.
In May 2026, a scheduled performance in Albuquerque, New Mexico, was cancelled after Zimmerman became the subject of a police investigation. According to authorities, he was accused of causing approximately $16,000 in damage to a hotel room following alleged erratic behaviour. Investigators also alleged that attempts to contact Zimmerman and members of his team were unsuccessful, leading to the issuance of a warrant.
The singer was initially facing charges that included Criminal Damage to Property, a fourth-degree felony, and Falsely Obtaining Services, a misdemeanor.
But the case did not proceed. The charges were later dropped after Zimmerman reportedly accepted responsibility for the incident.
What Happens To Bailey Zimmerman’s Remaining Tour Dates?
Before taking his planned break, Zimmerman is still expected to perform the remaining dates on his North American schedule. His itinerary currently includes concerts in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Missouri and Illinois with performances continuing through August 14.
The cancelled UK and Europe tour was scheduled to begin later in August and continue into the middle of September.
