Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has once again proved her ability to be part of some other highly coveted league with her recent appointment as a Global Brand Ambassador for luxury hotel brand JW Marriott. The announcement comes as a result of an important tie-up between the hotel giant and one of India’s leading personalities. The partnership also indicates how important India continues to be in terms of Marriott International’s global expansion plans.
The luxury hotel chain JW Marriott belongs to the Marriott Bonvoy family and has more than 130 hotel chains all over the world. In the case of India, it has already carved out a niche for itself in various cities in the country.
Stressing further importance about the tie-up, the company pointed out that the move was part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen its presence in the region. “India continues to remain a priority market for Marriott International and our growing footprint in gateway cities as well as resort destinations. With this JW Marriott collaboration with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the brand strengthens its long-term commitment to the region and intends to engage the new generation of luxury travellers through relevance, credibility and emotional appeal,” the statement read.
Aishwarya to Front ‘Stay in the Moment’ Campaign
Within the association, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will work with the “Stay in the Moment” initiative of the JW Marriott chain, which focuses on mindfulness, memorable moments, and living in the moment during travel. The theme of the campaign is consistent with the philosophy of providing guests with unique and luxurious experiences.
Global Campaigns and Exclusive Experiences
As the new Global Brand Ambassador for the brand, Aishwarya would play a major part in its various global marketing programs. These would include story-based marketing campaigns on film, print, and digital mediums. Apart from the marketing campaigns, Aishwarya would also be involved in various brand experience activities in India and other selected international markets.
