Why Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Are Not Invited
According to the source as quoted in the report, “Taylor wants to look around the room and recognise every face.” The source added that the singer “doesn’t want people there simply because they’re famous.”
It is only due to their preference for privacy and close knit celebration that Harry and Meghan, along with other high-profile figures such as George and Amal Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, and Barack Obama, have not been invited, as the report suggests.
As another source said, “Taylor wants memories with friends and family. The last thing she wants is for people to wonder who was invited for publicity.”

For her wedding, Swift has reportedly referred to many celebrities, including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s. Reports suggest that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 2018 royal wedding stood out to the singer while she planned her own ceremony.
Rob Shuter, on Substack, also quoted the source as saying that the pop icon has “no interest in turning her wedding into a power summit.” The insider added that she wants “a celebration, not a networking event.”
