Be a 70 mm bride with Diva’ni’s collection

For Bollywood lovers, it will soon be possible to adorn the clothes your favourite actors on screen wear. Diva’ni is country’s first cinema inspired fashion brand, founded as a a collaboration between Yash Raj films and KBSH, an established saree brand. Divan’ni launched about a year back, and has been producing bridal costumes for Shah Rukh Khan’s next movie Fan. They have their flagship store in Delhi, as well as a branch in Mumbai.
Their new bridal collection Sindoori is informed from classic Persian art, with finely appliqued motifs, kundan and embroidered polki  mixed with intricate gold and silver thread work, as well as zardozi.
The collection has been made using woven fabrics along with materials of a range of textures. This is juxtaposed on a velvet base with sheer net fabrics. Rich brocades and fluid fabrics like raw silk, dupion and georgette add glamour to this collection.
