Long past my prime

Am long past my prime
You cannot easily find
black hairs on my thinning grey
Cataracts have gently filmed my
eyes
like sheer curtains
My nose makes music
with stuff in my hardening lungs
Once you entered me beautifully
Took long dips
In my blood stream
Prayers of others
Entreaties rather, made you melt
Someone with a pristine soul
Someone else with a wicked
Sense of humour,
I cannot resist
Someone like a teddy bear
Someone with lilac clothes embroidered
With elephants she loves
Someone who speaks only when
alone
Toiled at me
You liked that
You were indulgent
Now come, come to me my love
My limbs and organs wait
For Your intimate hug
So secret, so blissful
I can recollect that only as I write
Or in silence.
Let Your black hands
hold me like black sutures
Healing everything
No, I do not come to you
Fed up, tired
I beseech you to enter me
Take me with you, as You exit
Its time my love
Its time we were together
Forever
