With India Design ID set to return to Delhi for its 14th edition from 19–22 February 2026, at the NSIC Grounds, Okhla, it’s time for another design-led dialogue to take place between designers and buyers, creators and appreciators. The theme for this edition is ‘The Age of Design Syncretism’, which celebrates the meeting of heritage and modernity, craft and innovation, and Indian and international perspectives.

Among the highlights to look forward to this year are the ID Exhibit, which will offer the latest collections in furniture, décor, lighting, collectibles and interiors, in partnership with Business France, showcasing French Art de Vivre – a dedicated pavilion for contemporary French creativity, design legacy, sustainability and aesthetics.

ID Symposium will host talks and discussions with over 40 leading architects, designers and creative thinkers from India and across the world. 32 standout projects will be under the spotlight with ID Honours. A special curatorial project named DESIGN, TOMORROW will explore how the future of design is already taking shape through shifts in material choices, modes of making, and ideas of sustainability, luxury and function. This will also be the first time for the sensory realm to be activated with Gourmet Experiences, which will feature many acclaimed restaurants, cafés and bars.

With over 125,000 visitors, as well as over 150 brands and new voices showcasing their work, India Design ID can be quite overwhelming. To help you plan your visit, the Sunday Guardian speaks to select exhibitors to share what’s on offer this year:

Rajesh Bhandari, Director, A-Class Marble, says, “At India Design ID 2026, A-Class Marble introduces an immersive spatial installation that transforms marble into an experiential environment rather than a conventional display. Layered architectural volumes create a walk-through structure where visitors encounter stone through movement and perspective. Projection mapping activates the surfaces, allowing light and digital imagery to interact with the material’s natural texture and tone. The showcase emphasises atmosphere and spatial clarity, demonstrating how marble behaves in real architectural contexts, from how it captures light to how it shapes the perception of space. Extending beyond the indoor showcase, the outdoor installation continues the geometric architectural language, creating a cohesive spatial narrative across environments. Designed as a three-dimensional narrative, the installation invites architects and designers to engage with marble as a living material that responds to contemporary design thinking. A central highlight is the launch of Angelo Fiore, a refined white marble distinguished by its warm white and champagne-toned base, layered with soft veining that brings quiet luminosity and understated elegance to contemporary interiors. Exclusively cut from A-Class Marble’s own quarries in Zambia, the marble reflects the brand’s deep control over sourcing and material integrity.”

Sajal Lamba, Co-Founder and Director, Wriver shares, “At India Design ID 2026, Wriver presents a new chapter in its design journey with the launch of GENESIS, alongside the introduction of wardrobes as a new category within the brand’s offering. Known for its design-led approach, Wriver is expanding its offering this year to explore living as a more complete, considered experience, one that extends beyond individual pieces into how spaces are shaped and used. Designed with the same attention to detail and functional clarity, our wardrobes are intended to integrate into contemporary interiors, offering visually restrained, materially considered solutions. At the Wriver booth, visitors will experience living redefined through a complete home environment, where furniture and wardrobes come together as part of a unified design language.”

The team at West Elm says, “This year, West Elm’s key highlights at ID 2026 include an intentionally designed Piet Mondrian-inspired booth and the showcase of our spring collection. The showcase is defined by clean, modern silhouettes, warm wood tones and soft, earthy palettes. From streamlined sofas and sculptural chairs to versatile tables, each piece balances relaxed comfort with contemporary refinement. Natural textures and thoughtful craftsmanship bring a light, seasonal sensibility, making the collection ideal for effortlessly refreshing modern interiors. The collection comprises furniture with sculpted silhouettes that anchor the space through bold geometric details, and classic shapes reimagined to mark the beginning of a new season. The collection celebrates an interplay of materials – sleek leather, solid wood and marble. Storage pieces like the Kody Wood & Paper Cord Hutch add structure while accent tables, ottomans and nesting sets encourage flexible, layered living. This is spring, reimagined as subtle luxury for elevated comfort.”

Ruchika Baid, Managing Director, Coast to Coast and Sunday Design shares, “At India Design 2026, Coast to Coast invites visitors to see wood differently through an immersive His-and-Hers salon that celebrates veneers as more than just a surface. The booth unfolds as a spatial experience where material, millwork and craftsmanship are felt rather than announced. Visitors can expect layered veneer applications, refined detailing and precision-driven joinery that reveal themselves gradually as one moves through the space. Two distinct spatial sensibilities emerge, unified by a shared language of material intelligence, coming together in a quiet, contemplative centre. Craftsmanship sits at the heart of the installation. From precision millwork and disciplined joinery to nuanced material transitions, the focus is on the invisible work – the hidden joints, seamless integrations and constructional clarity that quietly define quality.”

Varun Poddar, Director at VOX India says, “At India Design Delhi 2026, VOX showcases its evolving approach to surface solutions through a curated display of ceiling systems, flooring, wall panels and facade applications. Rooted in European design expertise and advanced manufacturing, VOX presents how surfaces can move beyond function to become integral design systems within contemporary architecture. At Stall 66 & 67, visitors can explore how VOX products respond to modern spatial needs, balancing performance and durability across residential and commercial environments. From ceilings designed as architectural statements to flooring and wall systems that integrate seamlessly into interiors, the showcase highlights VOX’s focus on precision, ease of installation, and long-term performance.”

Sachin Gupta, Co-Founder and Design Principal of Beyond Designs, shares, “At India Design ID 2026, Beyond Designs unveils The Velvet Chateau, a collection and spatial narrative shaped by texture, tone and timeless design. Inspired by the imagined transformation of an old European church into a private residence, the booth is conceived as an architectural vignette where an inherited past is reinterpreted through contemporary forms and curated detailing to shape a refined present. The space unfolds as a lived-in sequence, where a processional corridor leads into a contemplative study, transitions into an intimate bedroom and culminates in a generous living and dining chamber. Each zone is defined by form and the textural interplay of weathered finishes, carved profiles, plush upholstery and globally sourced vintage accents that create tactile contrast and depth.”
