Traffic is likely to slow down near central Delhi and the diplomatic enclave. Authorities expect congestion on the following roads:
These roads connect embassies, government offices, and major event venues. Officials have advised commuters to take alternative routes wherever possible.
Passengers travelling to Indira Gandhi International Airport should avoid the central Delhi corridors during peak hours.
Authorities recommend using NH-48 and the Sector-22 Dwarka Tunnel to bypass traffic near the summit venue. No complete restrictions apply, but travellers should allow extra time for their journey.
People heading to major railway stations, including New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway Station, and Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station, should prefer Ring Road, Ashram Chowk, and Vande Mataram Marg to reduce delays.
Vehicles passing through Delhi but not destined for the city centre will divert to the Eastern and Western Peripheral Expressways to ease traffic pressure.
Authorities strongly recommend using the Delhi Metro due to limited parking near the venue. The nearest station is Pragati Maidan Metro Station. Visitors can use Gate 10 for direct access to Bharat Mandapam.
For those travelling by private vehicle, designated parking areas are available at:
Shuttle services will operate between these parking locations and the summit venue.
In a separate post on X, PTI shared the Ministry’s advisory, “Traffic Advisory for 16th February! Delegates attending #IndiaAllImpactSummit2026 at Bharat Mandapam and Sushma Swaraj Bhawan are advised to use public transport due to limited parking and revised gate access. Please plan your arrival as per the updated entry protocols and cooperate with security personnel for smooth conduct of the event."
Authorities have increased security arrangements due to the presence of global leaders and international delegations. Telecom operators have also strengthened mobile network coverage around Bharat Mandapam to support participants and media personnel.
Officials have urged residents to plan travel, follow traffic advisories, and cooperate with security staff to minimise inconvenience during the summit.
With thousands of delegates in attendance, the advisory aims to keep Delhi moving smoothly while the city hosts one of the year’s most significant technology events.
