Bank Holiday:  There are some bank holidays in store for the people of India in the month of March 2026, as some important religious and cultural festivals are around the corner. It is important to note that the list of bank holidays is not the same across the country. Hence, it is always recommended that the customers check the list of bank holidays in the state they are residing in. The following is the list of bank holidays in the state-wise manner for the month of March 2026.

As the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has already released its list of holidays for the month of March 2026, the customers can expect at least 18 bank holidays during the month. The list of RBI holidays is applicable for all the banks in the country, including the State Bank of India (SBI). The list of 18 bank holidays in the month of March 2026 also includes the second Saturday, fourth Saturday, and all Sundays. However, the banks are usually open on the first, third, and fifth Saturdays of the month.
