Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), a youth-led organisation which started off with a lot of support pouring in for them, is facing massive trolling on social media right after their first press conference. Videos of their spokesperson interacting with media has left people unimpressed ahead of the massive June 6 protest against Neet UG paper leak. CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke had announced that he will be returning to India to lead the protest. But the party is facing flak over their responses to critical questions.
Cockroach Janata Party June 6 Protests: Why Is Abhijeet Dipke’s Party Being Trolled?
A clip from the group’s recent press conference shows CJP spokesperson Saurav Das speaking about obtaining police permission for the party’s Jantar Mantar protest. Das questions the need for a police permission, saying, “This entire culture about obtaining police permission months before an event…you seek permission, then police will reject and then you have to move court…What is the need for a police permission?” His fellow party members were seen laughing as Das made the remarks.
Cockroach janta party feels like Gen-C.
Gen-Chutiya.
According to them, why take police permission before an event?
By that logic, why file nomination papers before elections?

A social media user shared the video on X, questioning the logic behind the statement. “According to them, why take police permission before an event? By that logic, why file nomination papers before elections? Just show up at the Election Commission on voting day and say, In a democracy, you have to let me contest. Rules, permissions, procedures, deadlines are apparently all of them are oppression until you need them to protect your own rights. This isn’t activism. It’s entitlement disguised as democracy.”
Journalist: Why do you not take permission form Delhi Police to protest at Jantar Mantar?
Cockroach:
– Do you think they will give us permission?
– Why do you need permission to protest at a designated protest site?
– I am sure they will give us permission on the same day we… pic.twitter.com/VFjoEHFKUh— Incognito (@Incognito_qfs) June 4, 2026
In another clip, Saurav Das is seen interacting with a reporter who asks him the same question. The reporter is seen asking whether the organisation has already obtained prior permission for the demonstration officially. To this, Das says police haven’t yet granted approval, the reporter then kind of wonders why the group is still intent on going ahead on June 6. Das replies that the organization feels the authorities will eventually come around and allow the protest anyway. The video is being mocked on social media for contradictory claims.

Cockroach Janata Party June 6 Protests: What To Expect?
Cockroach Janata Party, which surpassed BJP as the most followed party on social media in just four days, is planning a huge protest at Jantar Mantar on June 6 against the NEET UG paper leak. The protest is gaining support from big stars like Prakash Raj and activist Sonam Wangchuk. There are reports that Sonam Wangchuk might join Cockroach Janata Party if Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan does not resign by 5 June.
However, another video where member Harshit, can be seen inciting people, adding that ‘India will be turned into Nepal’. Ahead of the protest, a video of one of its members asking people to bring sticks and pepper spray has sparked outrage.
