Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), which surpassed BJP as the most followed party on social media in just four days, is planning a huge protest at Jantar Mantar on June 6 against the NEET UG paper leak. Ahead of the protest, a video of one of its members asking people to bring sticks and pepper spray has sparked outrage. In the video, the member Harshit, can be seen inciting people, adding that ‘India will be turned into Nepal’. He was referring to violent Gen Z protests that toppled KP Oli’s government and claimed 76 lives.
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke said he will return to Delhi from US to lead the protests on June 6. They are also pushing for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over paper leak controversy. ‘We seek minimum accountability from this system where rot has set in,’ said spokesperson Saurav Das during party’s first press conference in Delhi on June 3.

What Happened Here?
The controversy comes up as Cockroach Janata Party Founder Abhijeet Dipke gets ready to head back to India on June 6, to lead a protest pushing for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over examination related lapses. This also includes disputes around NEET, CBSE and a few other recruitment and entrance examinations. In a number of public messages and videos, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke has told supporters to stick to constitutional and democratic routes, and to join what he describes as a peaceful demonstration at Jantar Mantar. No Women As Spokesperson? Cockroach Janata Party Founder Abhijeet Dipke Replies
To this question, Cockroach Janata Party Founder Abhijeet Dipke replied:
‘Why is there no woman spokesperson in the CJP? We did offered the role to our female team members, but many told us they would prefer to be actively involved without being at the forefront due to the constant online attacks and threats we are receiving. We respect their decision. That said, we would like to invite young women who want to be part of this movement and are willing to step forward as spokespersons to join us.’
