Delhi SIR Form Submission Deadline Extended Twice
The deadline for submitting SIR forms in Delhi has already been extended twice. The original deadline was July 30, which was subsequently extended to August 8. It was later pushed further to August 17, making Monday the latest deadline for the process. Despite the extensions, a sizeable portion of the forms had still not been digitised. According to data from the Chief Electoral Officer’s office cited in the report, 66.84% of forms had been digitised by 8 pm on Saturday. The remaining forms were still being processed as the final deadline approached.
Delhi SIR Latest Update: Outer North Leads Digitisation
Among the districts, Outer North Delhi was reported to have the highest digitisation rate, with around 75.64% of SIR forms processed. West Delhi followed with approximately 73.06%, while South West Delhi stood at around 72.93%. The relatively lower digitisation rates in several other districts have increased the workload for election officials on the final day.
