How Does The Delhi SIR Enumeration Form System Work?
Under the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are visiting every household in Delhi and giving two printed copies of the enumeration form to each registered voter. You need to fill one copy and return it to the BLO, who will upload the details online. The second copy will be stamped and returned to you as proof of submission. If you are not at home when the BLO visits, the form will be left at your house, and the BLO will return at least two more times to collect it. You can also fill and submit the form online through the official Election Commission voter services portal.
Which Section Of The Form Should You Fill – Left Or Right?
The form has two sections, and the one you need to fill depends on whether your name was on the 2002 Delhi voter list. If your name was on the 2002 Delhi electoral roll, fill the Left Section. This is meant for people who were registered voters in Delhi during the last intensive revision in 2002.
If your name was not on the 2002 voter list, fill the Right Section. This applies to people who moved to Delhi after 2002, younger voters, or anyone whose name was not included in the 2002 rolls. In this section, you need to provide the details of a close relative, such as your father, mother or grandparents, whose name appeared on the 2002 Delhi voter list. You will need to enter your relative’s name, EPIC (Voter ID) number, your relationship with them, district, state, Assembly constituency name and number, Part Number or Polling Booth Number, and Serial Number. You also need to attach a recent passport size photograph.
How Do You Find Your Or Your Relative’s Name In The 2002 Delhi Voter Rolls?
The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Delhi has made the 2002 voter list available online. You can search it in three ways:
•   Using the EPIC (Voter ID) number
•   By entering the name and personal details
•   By searching through polling station details
If you already have the Voter ID number, you can quickly find the Part Number and Serial Number needed for the form. If you moved to Delhi from another state after 2002, you can search your details on the Election Commission’s national portal using your previous state’s voter records. If you need help, the contact number of your BLO is printed at the top of your enumeration form.
What Are The Key Dates You Need To Know For Delhi SIR 2026?
The door-to-door verification and collection of forms will continue until July 29. The draft voter list will be released on August 5. From August 5 to September 4, voters can submit claims or objections if there are any mistakes or if their names are missing. The Election Commission will review these claims until October 3, and the final Delhi electoral roll will be published on October 7. If your name is not included in the draft voter list on August 5, you can apply for corrections or inclusion before September 4.
