Employees frequently receive multiple Member IDs because they fail to transfer their previous EPF account when changing jobs. The EPFO 3.0 system enables users to merge duplicate accounts through its online portal.
You have to visit unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in and ensure your UAN is activated and linked with your Aadhaar and mobile number.
Log in using your UAN and password.
Go to ‘Service History’ under the ‘View’ section to see all linked Member IDs.
Click on ‘Online Services’, ‘One Member, One EPF Account (Transfer Request)’.
You are required to confirm your personal and employment details. Choose either your previous or current employer for attestation.
Authenticate using OTP sent to your registered mobile number and submit the request.
