What is Gambhir Bimari Sahayata Yojana?
The UP government’s Gambhir Bimari Sahayata Yojana is a welfare scheme that aims to provide financial assistance for treatment of serious illnesses to registered construction workers and eligible family members who are not covered under either Ayushman Bharat or the Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana.
According to government officials, eligible beneficiaries can receive reimbursement equivalent to the benefits available under Ayushman Bharat when treatment is availed at government/autonomous hospitals. The official bulletin has also clarified that there is no maximum amount fixed under the welfare scheme.

To be eligible for the Gambhir Bimari Sahayata Yojana, workers should fulfil the following criteria:
