Gurugram Hit-And-Run Case: Woman Biker Hit On Gurugram’s Golf Course Road
The accident occurred on a Sunday when the lady, who claims to be known as Sia on social networking sites, was traveling in an Aprilia RS 457 with some bikers on Golf Course Road. Video evidence has emerged showing a car traveling next to the group before colliding with Sia’s motorcycle, causing her to fall off. It is reported that she suffered minor injuries.
According to Sia, the car had been tailing the group and its occupants were acting in an aggressive manner prior to the accident. She further claimed that she had asked the occupants to keep a distance between them. These are allegations as the matter is still under investigation.
Gurugram Hit-And-Run Case: What Did Kalyan Bainsla Say?
However, Bainsla has confessed to the accident, yet he refuted the allegations that he hit Sia on purpose. According to him, he was accompanied by his family and he lost control of his car while driving near the U-turn. “I was traveling with my family. I did not gesture anything to the girl; I just told her to drive her bicycle slowly. Yes, there was an accident. If I had stopped right there, then these people would beat us up,” he has stated. Bainsla also alleged that some of the bikers had over-taken his car, and he did not realize in the first place that there was a woman among them.
Gurugram Hit-And-Run Case: What Does Bainsla’s Lawyer Claim?
The lawyer for Bainsla, Naveen Bainsla, has come up with another version of how the crash took place. He suggested that there were about 25 people who kept overtaking the car, and Sia was driving at 140-170 kilometers per hour when she made a right turn while Bainsla made a left turn at a U-turn location. The fact that the speed mentioned above is disputed by the defence and thus cannot be taken as an indisputable fact.
What Has The Woman Biker Said?
However, Sia has dismissed Bainsla’s theory and challenged the theory of Bainsla that it was an accident. In a video statement, she raised the question of why he did not stop in case of such accidents if he really wanted to save her life. She has accused him of following her in his car and that the video proves that the car made way across the lanes before crashing into her motorcycle.
Gurugram Hit-And-Run Case: Who Owns The Car?
The car that was in the accident is registered to a person whose name is Manish. According to Manish, he was not driving the car during the accident; rather Bainsla had borrowed it from him. He further informed that he was on duty during the time of the accident.
What Happens Next In The Gurugram Hit-And-Run Case?
The involvement of Section 109 of the BNS and the arrest of Bainsla in Rajasthan will ensure that the investigation centers around the circumstances surrounding the crash, the CCTV footage, statements of the people involved, and other evidence. The charge of attempt to murder in the criminal case does not prove Bainsla guilty of the crime. This will be determined through the process of investigation and prosecution.
