With only four days remaining for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, the Election Commission has urged voters in Haryana to submit their voter enumeration forms without delay. Deputy Commissioner Uttam Singh said submitting the form within the deadline is necessary to verify voter records and avoid future inconvenience. Officials have warned that only those whose signed forms are received by the Booth Level Officer (BLO) will be included in the draft electoral roll to be published on July 21.
The enumeration form is required to verify voter details before the preparation of the updated electoral roll. Officials said voters can use details from the 2002 electoral roll or information about a related family member, wherever applicable, to complete the verification process.
How Can Voters Check Their Details Online?
The Election Commission has provided an online search facility where voters can check their names in the 2002 Special Intensive Revision List. Voters can search using their name, EPIC number or other personal details. The portal also allows users to find information about their Booth Level Officer (BLO) through the “Know Your Polling Officials” option.
How To Fill The Haryana SIR Form Online?
Voters can complete the online process by following these steps:
•   Visit the Voters’ Service Portal.
•   Log in using a mobile number or EPIC (Voter ID) number.
•   Select the option to fill the enumeration form.
•   Enter the required voter details.
•   Review the information and submit the form online.
Those who prefer the offline method can submit a physical copy of the form to their local Booth Level Officer (BLO).
How Many Forms Have Been Submitted So Far?
According to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), enumeration forms have been distributed to more than 1.99 crore voters, covering 96.43% of the electorate. So far, around 1.22 crore completed forms, accounting for 59.11% of voters, have been collected and uploaded by Booth Level Officers.
What Happens If The Form Is Not Submitted?
Officials said only voters whose signed enumeration forms are received by the BLO will be included in the draft electoral roll scheduled to be published on July 21. Voters are also advised to keep the acknowledged copy of the submitted form as proof of submission.
