Jaipur Nagar Nigam Chunav 2026: Fake Voting Allegation Sparks Protest in Ward 49

One of the biggest controversies of the day emerged from Ward 49 in Sanganer, where Congress candidate Dharm Singh Singhania alleged bogus voting.

Singhania and his supporters protested at the polling centre, claiming that some voters discovered that their votes had allegedly already been cast before they reached the booth.

Singhania said, “By the time the voters arrive here, a bogus voter has already cast a vote in their place.”

The allegation was made by the Congress candidate and has not been treated as an established finding unless confirmed by election authorities.

Ward 49 was already being closely watched because of the political contest between BJP candidate Mukesh Sharma ‘Kaka’ and Congress’s Dharm Singh Singhania.
