The National Testing Agency (NTA) on February 16, 2026, declared the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 results, naming toppers and releasing detailed performance data for the first major engineering entrance exam of the year. Out of 13,55,293 registered candidates, 13,04,653 appeared, marking a 96.26 % attendance rate, the agency said. The results include a full list of students who achieved a perfect 100th percentile score in Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech), as well as insights into participation and state-wise performance.
The JEE Main exam, a key gateway to prestigious engineering institutions such as Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other top colleges, was conducted online across multiple shifts and in 13 languages, both in India and at select overseas centres.

While the perfect 100th percentile list featured male candidates exclusively this session, female aspirants performed strongly, with some coming close to the top marks.
